Major Changes Throughout Eclipse
Since the release of our private beta test, we've been hard at work using the feedback we've gotten and we're excited to introduce all the features and changes we made!
🇺🇸 Introducing US Cards
We are thrilled to announce the introduction of US cards. Our database has now been expanded by ~200 US credit cards and 20+ US banks which means anyone from Canada or the US can now enjoy the convenience of Eclipse!
✨ Enhancing Credit Card Optimization
Previously, the credit card optimization feature required you to choose between cash back and rewards. Now, we’ve simplified optimizations and made them more personalized, eliminating the need to choose between cash back or rewards. With Custom Point Values (CPV) rewards and cash back cards will be ranked based on how much “value” each card provides. You can change the values of the points to let Eclipse work for you. The value of rewards cards is determined by your points values and the points multiplier of the card, giving an effective cash back or value back on your transaction.
🌎 Foreign Transaction Fees
Using your credit cards while traveling? Foreign exchange (forex) fees will be deducted from the value of each card providing an accurate optimization, globally! This provides an accurate optimization wherever you are in the world.
🔎 Improving Card Search
We heard you loud and clear! Our old card search was unintuitive for many, but we've completely revamped it to allow searching for cards through a search bar. With the introduction of this feature, we have also implemented a credit card wiki, allowing you to search through our entire database of cards and learn about any credit card!
🗓 Card of the Week
We're proud to announce the introduction of card of the week which uses machine learning to determine a card of the week.
📍 Location Search
Our location search has been completely revamped! Now, searching for locations gives you a preview, allowing you to look around where the location is. We provide directions to your chosen location and can optimize the card for that location instantly!
🔔 Live Notifications
Want to optimize cards without unlocking your phone? With live notifications we provide all the real time optimizations for you without needing to unlock your phone.
